Wanda's "Little Hands" was established in 1996 by Willie and Wanda McCargo. It started with a small vision from the Lord, and has since then expanded. Even though we have grown in size, the small ratio atmosphere has remained and made the growth easier by being able to offer a safe, diverse, loving, and nurturing environment. We are committed to helping each individual child develop a basic love for learning, and the social skills necessary to be a successful contributing member of society. The staff at WLHEC are uniquely selected and qualified in the field of Early Childhood experience, or related field; CPR/First Aid certified; and on-going training. We are a 5 star facility and strive each day for excellence. We are also a "North Carolina Pre-K" program site, offered by Wake County Smart Start; and a Telamon Early Head Start Program Site. At Wanda's Little Hands we help each little hand grow and learn for tomorrow.

Wanda's Little Hands Educational Center, Inc.(WLHEC, Inc.) is committed to providing age appropriate educational experiences to children to support and facilitate the development of early childhood foundational skills to help each child reach their fullest potential. We purpose to involve parents, families, and community in the learning environment as partners to optimize each child's learning experience.
